Our Group Rules!
We have two goals when riding together - 1) Enjoy the ride and 2) Get home safely to our families
We don't have many rules but the ones we do have circle around safety. We all love to hit that 115mph every once in a while but when you're in a group, the rules are different than when you're by yourself and you have to adjust accordingly for the safety of others. We don't want a car clipping us because you want to show off and cut the car off. Cars react to a bike, so if you piss them off, they are going to take it out on the rest of us who may not be so quick to react/avoid.

-
Fuel? #1 and most important rule - Fill up your gas tank before every ride. 99% of the time when we meet up it is at or near a gas station. So gas up at the meetup location so we all have the same amount of gas (Full).
-
Nothing is more of a buzz kill then having to stop ten minutes into a ride because someone empty gas tank light comes on.
-
-
Ezpass? If you do NOT have ezpass then you must let the group lead know at the beginning of the ride. We don't need you speeding up to pay cash then we fly thru ezpass and you breaking your neck to catch up to us. Not that serious. We have no problem pulling over (safely) to wait for you to pay cash for your toll. If you have a 'free toll pass' lol then we don't want to know, just say you're good.
-
Formation? Group rides mean we ride in staggered formation. If for some reason a person falls back or passes you then you MUST re-stagger and everyone behind you must re-adjust the formation accordingly. Try not to break formation.
-
In our rides, the second person (behind the lead biker) sets the formation. So if the 2nd person is on the right, then the 3rd person takes the left and so forth. NEVER ride side by side another rider (You don't want to ride side-by-side since this will limit your maneuvering space if you need to swerve quickly).
-
When we are riding curves then our formation is single file (safety reasons).
-
Only ride in one lane (multiple lane hogging piss drivers off and puts our lives in jeopardy).
-
Pass/cut a car off safely. Meaning if you cut a car off - speed up.
-
-
Signals? Always use a blinker so the riders and cars behind you know which way you are turning before you turn (not while you're turning). I've seen many cars avoid switching lanes because a biker threw a blinker and they let the bike pass. Most cars don't mind waiting as long as you let them know where you are going. Some are jerks and don't care - for those don't let your ego get the best... just fall back let them throw their tantrum while they hate on you, and then safely/quickly pass them and give them the finger since putting your life at risk was more important.
-
More signals? Be kind and remind - the people behind you that there's a pot hole the size of a basketball hoop coming their way. Stick your leg out or point with hand the pothole as you pass it.
-
Don't go rogue. If you want to take off and push 130mph then don't do a group ride. Save that for rides of 3 people or less.
-
Experience? If you have been riding for 2 years or less. Let the group lead know! Very important. You are not here to impress us, we are here to improve your riding skills while you enjoy your ride. If you have 2years or less it just reminds us to keep an eye on you and give constructive advice if we notice something you need to work on (so it's to your benefit). 3 years or more - you're good, well at least we hope you are haha!
-
Tire check? Every ride - the thumb check front and back tire. I showed a group of you. If your tire isn't hard and thumb goes in then you need to check that tire pressure. That's a quick cheat way.. you're suppose to get the air pressure gauge. But this is the method I use before EVERY time I ride. Worst thing next to running out of gas is to hop on the highway only to find out that you have a flat tire that you would've known if you quickly pressed the tires prior to getting on your bike. You never know if you hit a nail on your last ride and the air was creeping out overnight. Check both your tire air pressure always (minimum once a week if you ride alot). They change with the weather and the more you ride. If a meetup is specifically for curves/twisties then definitely check your tires before the ride. Five minute check can save your life as well as the biker behind you who might ride into you if something happen to you.
-
EVERY time you ride together - get on the group chat and let the other person know that you are home/destination safely. Groupme Chat
-
Your Emergency contact? If you decide to ride with us repeatedly we would recommend sharing your Emergency contact with us. We prefer to be proactive. Reach out to Mrs. Jai to give your contact info, it is not shared with the group.. Your info is confidential and will only be kept accessible with Miss Jai incase of an emergency. We hope never to have to use it.
-
Ride safe so we can see each other again for another ride and get back to our families!

At the end of the ride if you want to break off and get that bike itch and push 140mph then let the group lead know that you'll be breaking off. When you leave the group stay ahead of the group and don't speed pass each other. Since you won't be in formation, its more dangerous to speed pass another biker who doesn't know you're there.
